WebJun 3, 2024 · I've been running a dedicated private server for maybe about a week or so. However, after Genesis 2's release, the server no longer appears in the server browser. EDIT: I HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM. My friend had to restart Ark and I did too, and it worked! Every time I try to join my friend on ARK: Survival Evolved through Steam, it just doesn't work. WebAug 27, 2024 · Simple way is to host a co-op server. Just select it in the main menu and invite your friend. The down side to this is that your friend can't play if your not there and he can't be far away from you in game. You could also just find a public server. You could even go as far as manually adding all dlc spawns to the island map without ever owning the dlc.
